We are looking for a talented “selling” sales manager to grow and develop our sales team and expand sales within our distribution through your personal selling efforts. Our only constraint to growth is finding a truly skilled “A” sales manager like you. If the following description sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

The candidate we are looking for is experienced and has strong sales skills and strengths as well as a track record of sales management success working with and training and motivating dealer/distributors and their sales people. To qualify, you must have prior success “turning around” a stagnant sales culture while also increasing penetration of dealer distributor dormant and under-performing accounts through your own sales efforts. You will call on dealers and train their sales people to sell our products which are incremental to what they sell and are complimentary.

We require experience selling and sales management in one of the following industries: material handling, overhead door dealer sales, or comparable industrial segments.

Please read the following very carefully, this is what we define an “A” sales manager to be.

You have demonstrated success growing inside sales people through coaching, development and training. Your skills in coaching have been performed on the following time line: daily, with each person, pro-actively with the following: facts, strategy, role-playing, lessons learned and action plans.

You have great skills for tactics due to your refined experience which helps your sales people recognize scenarios where you've “been there and done that.” No theory, just experience and sound judgment.

You have a passion for success and can work well in a fast paced, high volume environment. Not only will you oversee the internal staff, but you'll also sell and train dealer sales people. You also know how to motivate a dealer/distributor sales force. As sales manager you know how to change their behavior, get them to sell your product line and influence their behavior.

We support the sales team with on-going lead generation through mass mailings which work to generate interest and real sales leads.

This is an ideal position for the right person. Why? Because the owner wants to start to “pull back” from the sales side and give the responsibility to the sales manager that is hired. You will have the unique opportunity to “run your own show!”
